A few others have said this, but it bears repeating: "The Final Problem" was the short story by Arthur Conan Doyle that featured Moriarty's duel with Sherlock Holmes. The Final Solution was Nazi Germany's plan to exterminate all the Jews. There's a very slight but important difference between the two.

Superman and the Elite was pretty good except I thought the animation quality was really bad. Mostly during the action scenes, it looks like there are frames missing and the staging just seemed off, which of course makes me worry about Dark Knight Returns. Shame since these movies use to animate very well, till they switched over to doing most of the boards overseas.

Wow, I'm going to have to get used to not marathoning through an entire episode, lol.  This is quickly becoming on of my fav. podcasts, on here or any other site.  Oh, and I watched Yellow Sub. as a kid one day on tv, it was the only thing on I remember, and started asking myself WTF?  It was so trippy and strange to an 11 yr old that I have never returned to it.

Chaplin married the 16 year old he knocked up. They had two kids and the wedding was quiet to avoid scandal. But he did replace her in the movie and she was his second wife. :-/ Otherwise, I am excited to see some of these movies.

It's so nice having these up once a week! Super excited to listen to this one! Really damn curious about Monster Brawl

    1)  I was intrigued when I saw "Monster Brawl" on the shelf, but it sounds a little too cheaply done to be worth it.  Maybe I'll rent it.  And yes, I am a wrestling fan.

(Side note:  wrestlers working as movie monsters used to be big in Japan.  They had American wrestlers working as Leatherface, Jason, the Crypt Keeper and the Shape.  One wrestler even flipped during a match and tried to kill a guy.  No, really.)

    2)  Loved "Yellow Submarine" when it came out on video.  Looks like a must-buy.

    3)  Loved "Meatballs", saw it way back when it came out.  I believe I have the 25th Anniversary DVD release, so I won't be getting this, but damnit I have to watch it again.  But, my question about this is: is the Blu-ray that much higher quality to justify upgrading?

Keaton was no Chaplin!? I'd venture to say it was the other way around; Chaplin, although a great writer had an inferior understanding of filmmaking than Keaton did, and relied too heavily on theater-like setpieces that weren't in any way cinematic. I can't say I'm a fan of his preaching in Monsieur Verdoux, The Great Dictator and Limelight either. He was great humanist and lovely man, but Keaton and Tati were far better filmmmakers and cinematic comedians in my mind.

I am not a big fan of the first Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes film and the sequel according to many people won’t change my mind any further.  HOWEVER the BBC series with Benedict Cumberbatch, I am loving what they are doing with that Sherlock Holmes.  Not many people can outshine Robert Downey Jr. but Benedict Cumberbatch did exactly that.
