Hey Cyrus. I love Four Lions it's one of my favourite movies. I do agree with you that it's not "ha ha lol" type funny but just listen to Mark Kermode's review he pretty eliquently sums up what I loved about the film and what I think, not doubting your ability at all, you may have missed:

Brian Salisbury-I would pay full price to see that many times-I'd be my version of Donald Glovers Shaft starring Michael Cera. Also, waking up and seeing that made my day. So thank you and keep up the great work.

Glad to hear the samurai flick (or trilogy) is worthwhile. I'm always down for these films.

I wonder if you guys are ever going to mention the whole Ultraviolet digital copy controversy going on with some of the new releases lately. A lot of people (myself included) seem to be against the move from regular digital copy to the Ultraviolet streaming digital copy. Im just wondering if you guys will ever mention that. Anyways, another great show!

RED SCORPION was released here in the Philippines around the late 80s
a few years later, there was this notorious gang here in the Philippines which was responsible for robberies and kidnappings of Filipino-Chinese businessmen. the name of the gang was the Red Scorpion Group

Apparently, this gang might have loved the movie so much that they named their gang after that movie

Even more than the James Bond one, the Alfred Hitchcock collection already has $100 stored away by me. It just makes me mad that Strangers on a Train isn't on it, which is one of my favorite movies of all time, let alone favorite Hitchcock films-its seperatley released in October. Still can't wait for both

ScottPilgrimJDP--I'm hoping it's Rap of the Titans. The whole thing takes place in Detroit and Zeus and Hades have to MC battle one another. "My rhymes ain't futuristic, they're polytheistic!"

    TO CYRUS:

Actually, the Deliverance did not win any Oscars that year. In fact it was not even nominated for any music awards. It was up for Picture, Director and editing though. Just saying. I am a bit of an Oscar die hard and not ashamed of it :)
