I've never had Chic-Fil-A, now I never will for awhile. I guess I should be an addict and have someone buy it for me and deliver in the alley... then sell my body for ketchup and ranch.

Thanks for this podcast...This one was great because I had a SIMILAR THING happen to me this last week with some dumb ass crotch-rocket driving heavily tattooed guy who cut me off on the highway at the worst possible time. he cut me so close that my car was literally inches from his back tire. He craned his head from his helmet to look at my headlights, then had the sense to get back to the other lane where he was so I wouldn't hit his ass...But then as he passed he decided to get beside me...I didn't bother to look at him when he were next to each other at the next red light...But then (since I lived near that light), as Co Host described as covering your tracks, I chased him down as the light turned green to the next light where he turned, then did a U turn back home as he was long gone.
Short story shorter, NEVER LOOK AT THE MF WITH ROAD RAGE. It's like dealing with a faceless enemy - you wont give a fuck til its too late. I was just as mad as he was....and luckily I didnt kill him, and luckily he wasn't stupid enough to retaliate.

I thought The Amazing Spider-Man score was awful! But I disagree with yall on Avengers. I thought Alan Silvestri's score had memorable themes and cool moments that the score helped represent. Plus I bought it...and I'm bias.

@Treeman: Besides breast milk I don't see much of a distinction and even if distinctions existed wouldn't the presence of extended family, family friends, teachers and other mentors offset whatever these children are "lacking".
You also assume that the purpose of marriage is having/raising children, where that is, in no way, an obligation.

Gender distinctions? I'm sure your argument is in no way influenced by religion.

The curse strikes again!
TMZ: CHICK-FIL-A PR Honcho Dies of Heart Attack
A key member of the Chick-fil-A public relations department died of a heart attack this morning ... this in the middle of the biggest PR crisis the fast food chain has ever faced. Chick-fil-A released a statement saying, "We are saddened to report the news to you that our dear friend Don Perry, vice president of public relations, passed away suddenly this morning."As Chick-fil-A came under fire for its stance against gay marriage ... Perry spoke on behalf of the restaurant chain in an effort to smooth things over with the public ... promising to "leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.”Chick-fil-A added, "Don was a member of our Chick-fil-A family for nearly 29 years. He was a well-respected and well-liked media executive in the Atlanta and University of Georgia communities, and we will all miss him.""Our thoughts and prayers are with his family."

@treeman There's more: the only reason people are against gay marriage is because of their religion, otherwise it's senseless (although even with religion it makes no sense) Not everyone's religious, and people shouldn't shove their beliefs down others throats, plus religion should have no bearing on the government, and marriage is a legally binding contract, not a religious one.
July 28, 2012 at 9:47 AM, said ...
@Treeman
Because being against gay marriage is denying them the same right everyone else has. Just because it's the opinion of some people doesn't mean it should stop others from experiencing it. For example; just because I and many others think Twilight is fucking terrible doesn't mean the books and films should be banned.
A gay couple getting married has no effect on anyone else, so why should it be a big deal?
July 28, 2012 at 7:43 AM, said ...
Why is it that liberals always equate being anti-gay marriage with hate? Demonizing those that disagree with your opinions does not lend yours any additional credence.

I actually liked the score for The Avengers, I remember the score for Thor very well, and Iron Man's score still resonates in my mind.
John Williams didn't do all of the scores for the Harry Potter series, but his are the most memorable:Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban - John Williams
Goblet of Fire - Patrick Doyle (also did Thor)
Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince - Nicholas Hooper
Deathly Hallows - Alexander Desplat
John Ottman did the score for Superman Returns, and it was a'ight. I'm interested to see what Hans Zimmer does with it.

@Tev'n - That's also keeping in mind that the short animations are in ADDITION to our regular video output of 1-2 video reviews a week, and we also had three major conventions during it (Spill Dot Con, RTX, and Comic Con).

@Tev'n shut up, especially if you've seen how hard it is to animated 5 seconds of something a 2 minute(from what it sounds like) short, would take a few weeks to make sure everything lines up and everything is well animated (especially if they do more than 24 FPS). Not to mention the plotting, Voiceover, SFX/sound mixing and making sure it's cool with the guys in new york, a good 2 months sounds about right.
July 27, 2012 at 12:32 PM, said ...
Seriously Korey, you guys spent MONTHS on that animated short?? No offense but that sounded so awful. I wouldn't have enjoyed it at all. Surely you guys have better ideas than that! lol
Anywho, another great episode of "LTD"!

@metalraygear I understand and I am not one of those who just say "Korey your sitting on your ass" no trust me it is just the fact that they mention it so much on the podcast that it feels rushed and not like the old days. Listen to the podcast for last year if its still there after the con the shows did not feel like the past 4-5 weeks.

You guys need to remember that Korey has a bit more on his plate than he used to- what with trips to New York, the loading bar- and we just wrapped several different cons/fests. There is a period where LDT suffers every year and it's around this time where it stops.
