    There is something called dexterity, games should require it.

    Jeff, you of all people should remember the point and click era where people made games that would just fuck with the player if they got something wrong or those type command(>pick up frog) adventure games that'd have something snippy to say.

    You guys....Kim swift made the original concept for Portal...She's basically if George Lucas left star wars to do something similar that didn't do well.

    Also dropping you off with the uncle is better than being left at a boarding school you barley heard of

    @Portal Comparisons

    I guess I'm just such a fan of Portal that I couldn't not see the comparisons to this game. A single, silent protagonist roams through a series of arena-type puzzles while being monitored/commented on by a quirky overlord with a passing disdain for the player. Both involve a lot of picking up objects and moving them around, there's a running theme of science is awesome, and both lend heavy emphasis towards physics based puzzles. The main difference in my mind is that while Portal was fun due to a unique style of gameplay that I had never seen before and the excellent writing of GLaDOS, it just felt like QC was trying too hard to be clever and witty. I didn't think Professor Quandrangle was very interesting, the plot really didn't go anywhere, and the fact that the environments were very same-y created a situation where the game was going to make or break based solely on the puzzles and I felt that after a while those started to feel awfully repetitive.

    @Jeff and Jason, this time you guys are being ridiculous.  I bought this game (and I never pay for PC games) and had fun right from the get-go.  And even though there are several similarities between Quantum Conundrum and Portal, Portal never even came to mind.

    I also respect this game because it's a much more difficult game than both Portal 1 and 2.

    Other than this being a first person point A to B puzzle game. Playing the game is nothing like Portal. Take away the poor mans Glados and you're left with a game that is all it's own beast. Yes the environment is bland, and the items you use are the same in each level. Each item serves a purpose. Think of them as the block shapes in Tetris. Yes they could have furnished each level with other items and environments, but that takes time and money. Especially if you think about all the changes you would have to make when you switch between all 5 dimensions! I think this game gives you your 15$ worth of puzzletainment! Give this game a Portal 2 budget and tell me it can't be just as good. This is way more game for your buck than Portal 1. I take that back... This is way more game for your buck than Portal 1 without GLaDOS!!!
