Podcasts - Remote Viewing Episode 20

With Brian safely returned from the wilds of the Canadian film fest known as "Fantasia" (yes, I'm jealous, what of it?), Remote Viewing gets back on track with a HUGE list of titles to cover. We run the gamut this week, from some of the worst examples of filmmaking we've ever seen, to one of the best films ever made. Check it...

Brian has nothing to fear. If you pay close attention to the Twilight movies (but I'm assuming you do not because the movies are so fucking terrible) the Twilight universe does NOT obey it's own rules.

Brian Salisbury - I'm just giving you crap.  I'm in your same boat- TONS of stuff I want to watch, but no time to watch it.  I still haven't watched any Dr. Who, Game of Thrones... I've watched the first episode of Archer... etc.

Though that said, Breaking Bad has become like crack (meth?) for me.  That first episode was like BOOM- I HAVE TO HAVE THIS!!!!  (I say this not have taken any drugs)

@Alex Thompson--That's not at all what I said. I watched the first episode and really liked it. But once again, I don't have time to watch TV. It has nothing to do with the quality of the show, merely my hectic schedule.

Alright, Excuse me for going on this little rant. But can ANYBODY explain to me Why The Fuck "Cabin in the Woods" will not be released to home video until September 18, 2012!?!? I just realized this fact when I noticed that the two movies that were wide released in theaters the same weekend as "Cabin in the Woods" (The Three Stooges and Lockout) have been out for two weeks already on DVD and Blu-Ray. What the Flying FUCK!? And "Cabin in the Woods" was delayed almost two years from being released due to MGM's financial failures. So the final product has been out there for over two years and someway, somehow they can't release it for home viewing until mid Sept.

    FUCK YOU MGM and LIONSGATE!

Thank Goodness, Chronicle is out. :)

And THANK YOU to Brian, Cyrus, and Luke for giving me fresh movies every week (whether newer or old school) to wean off my need to have "Cabin in the Woods" added to my collection.

I had an altered state once when we did acid while watching 2001 and all ended up crashing round the place screeching like chimpanzees! i'm surprised the cops weren't called, f*ck knows what the neighbours thought was going on lol

Cool.  Can't wait to get home and listen to this.  Lots of movies here I saw that I liked.  Also, I'm a huge fool for all sci-fi, fantasy type movies.  Would love to try a controled acid trip like Altered States.  I've never done acid.  In the movies it always looks like such a super cool thing to try - as in Hair, Alterned States, Across the Universe and that Jack Black movie.

@cyrus there is NO need at all to say sorry if there is no podcast next week or its short/has audio problems. You have  some heavy shit to deal with and i would be a lot more fucked up than you if it was me.Hope it all works out.

Well that's the whole point Mr. Salisbury. Not taking away from how great the original sing "Good Morning" was and the O so perfect dance choreography, but for it to also be almost perfectly in syncopation with music like this is nothing sort of Astonishing. So with that I must declare it to be in the Non-Whackage category. good sir.

Down By Law sounds freaking fantastic. It's on my top priority now. Thanks.

@Creepy Smith Groovy--Or at least it would be good if the music sampled in that track were from Singin' in the Rain. It's from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is why is it laid over the top of a Singin' in the Rain dance number? I'm terribly sorry, but I must declare it whack.
