    My main problem with this game is Shockwave's voice, he sounds like Wolverine

    @gaminghooligan, I think Bruce Greenwood does a good job as Batman in Young Justice.

    lmao I'm the same way with Batman's voice. If it's not Kevin Conroy it isn't batman. I even here him as the bat when I read the comics lol

    I think Mr Chocolate Bar is a troll, no one can be that be stupid or ill informed about a site they frequent. I think. This is the internet.

    Does this game do a good job marketing the world of Transformers to the kids, or does it best service nostalgic fans? I was born early 80s, but was more into the Mcdonalds toy transformers (anyone remember those?) than the show, so I'm concerned this game's story will confuse me because I don't have a connection to the original story. Does it do a decent job introducing you to these characters, or should I play the previous game and watch a few seasons of the original cartoon?

    I just had to post this here and maybe you've heard about it, if you haven't i'll fell you in. DC comics and IDW (the publishers for Transformers comics), were planing a crossover before DC reboot with the New 52.

    God, I love that song. Totally siding with Jeff on this one, a great time.

    @MR CHOCOLATE BAR

    You just described the Happy Hour playthroughs.  Professor Jeff already posted the link to the archive of these so I would suggest watching those since they seem to be exactly what you were suggesting.

    The Happy Hour is fun and enjoyable, but the difference between those videos and the audio game reviews is that in the Happy Hour Jeff & Jason (with possible guests) play the game and provide audio commentary and humor while showcasing the gameplay.  Then later they do a fully in depth audio review after various members of The Loading Bar have had adequate time to fully play the game.

    I would also like to point out that as a gamer I have never had any difficulty picturing what The Loading Bar crew is talking about even when I haven't previously watched the Happy Hour video.  So if you seem to be missing something in the audio reviews MR CHOCOLATE BAR I would greatly suggest watching the Happy Hour videos.

    Cheers

    @MR CHOCOLATE BAR  - We're not trying to sell you the game.  We're telling you if the game sucks or not.  The rest of the Internet is available for you to find out more about the game itself.  We sort of battle with ourselves over how much "detail" we should dish out in these reviews because it can make the review boring if it carries on too-long with it.  We're trying to remain entertaining and provide some detail but not all.  We're not the marketing department for the publisher of the game.  We just play the game and let you know if it's worth your money (In our opinion).

    There are also legal/copyright considerations (Which I'm not getting into) that one gets into when creating videos of game content.  It hasn't been a problem so far, but if Spill gets bigger, it could be.  We make considerations about this sort of stuff all the time.  And at this time, rolling video as part of reviews doesn't seem to be in the cards.

    @MR CHOCOLATE BAR

    I'm confused. Are you talking about a feature in addition to the Happy Hour videos we do?

    Just curious. Legitimate suggestions phrased nicely are always welcome, but there's a good chance that we already do exactly what you're describing.

    hey guys at spill, i would like to give you guys some advice on how to improve the show. first let me say that i am not a gamer AT ALL.  when you guys describe these games i can't get excited by your description having never really played. i assume that even gamers have a hard time picturing what you are talking about. i started listening to this pod cast then did some searching of my own on youtube and found this guy doing a game play through right here

    Transformers - Fall of Cybertron Walkthrough / Gameplay Part 4 - One

    for those who want to see what i am talking about just type that into youtube. anyway, i was so impressed with the visuals of the actual game play that i wanted to play this game. that is a lot to say for a guy who doesn't play.

    anyway, my suggestion is, you guys should do a kind of mystery science theatre 3000 talk-over of your actual game play but instead of making it funny, you just describe the goings on of the game and the details. you can also describe what you like about it and what you don't like about it in the talk-over. it will have the kind of feel of the commentary on a dvd. all it would take is some software to record your commentary as you record the show then put up videos instead of audio.

    as a non gamer i would watch all the time just to see the graphics of these games. it is kind of like watching a movie. those games are too complicated for me but i still enjoy watching them.

    @Jonathan

    Played fine on my PS3 untill it started to glitch like crazy with sound cutting in and out in some places and falling through the bottom of the map and going through walls, multiplayer has glitches and crazy bad lag. High Moon needs to come out with a update patch. i don't feel like dropping another $60.00 bucks to get the XBox version i will wait for it to be $20.00 bucks or less.
