Look alive Spill peeps!
Madden released an update. This does boost Madden's re-playability because Madden will continue to fine tune the gameplay on a weekly for rosters and periodically for major updates (or at least try too).
Check out the features below from EA Sports:

@Armstrong The games and the fanbases are terrible. They both consist of 12 year olds.

@Jason No. Halo has always and will always be better than COD. Do not compare us to those swill drinking nimrods who don't even bother playing the campaign on a game they spent $60 on. Sure there are bad people who play Halo but those are the ass-hats that play MLG and nobody talks to them anyways.

Don't put all Madden fans into the dumb beer swilling jock stereotype, it's the same ignorant view that labels all gamers as sad grown men that can't get a girl and will live in their parents basement until they are 30. The commentary isn't quite as bad as Sesar makes it out to be.Cowboys suck.
More than anything else in the world right now I want a Happy Hour of Football Manager 2013.
Professor Jeff confronted with that many tables, menus and ways to develop a team of 30 players would be something to see.

@Sesar
Hey at least it's better then the Tom Hammond. My god was he terrible in Madden. Nnmadi Asomugha was known as Asa-MOO-gah. NBA 2K12's commentary is awesome, but sadly I got bored with that game in like a month, but that's most sports games in general.

@Datkotah I'm just spoiled when it comes to sports commentary in video games because NBA 2k12 just nails it for me. This year's Madden booth crew of Phil Simms and Jim Nantz (from the CBS network) is a step up from Collinsworth and Gus. However, it's definitely a baby step towards greatness. Last year's Madden leaned too hard on Gus' electric real-life play by play which came across herky jerky in the game. But I sure do miss Madden and Pat Summerall in the booth!

While the commentary isn't the greatest in gaming history, it's way better then what Sesar said it was. It's a hell of a lot smoother then what it used to be. It's a lot more frequent that during the game, you will have commentary will flow without the generic fill-in-the-blank commentary everywhere in last year's game. I haven't played with all the teams, but most starting QB's have lines for them. Also, there is a lot of talking by Simms that is one long chunk of dialogue, and not the broken up dialogue in year's past.

lol @ jason and jeff. i actually like that you guys brought someone in who knows and plays madden to review this. However my problem is that i feel like since you guys don't like to play sports game you don't ever want to give them a chance. The whole nerd thing about "sports games are for jocks so i won't play them" is both wrong and annoying. If this was some fantasy or shoot'em up game you guys would play it no questions asked.
Football is not really my sport so i don't play any of the madden games. But i think it still has to be said. If this is the kind approach you guys want to go with on sports games then i am happy that you guys have not reviewed any of the fifa or proevo series.
I just find the whole nerd perspective that you guys take on sports games funny. anyways keep up the good work

I haven't posted in like 9 months or so but had to for this. I have to say though, although this review was balanced and actually might stop me from buying it (as I hate the stupid announcers) the Cowboys song at the end was totally worth it. I'm not a cowboys fan at all (Houston Texans fan) but that song was awesome. I wish I grew up in the 70s.
