It's not that the Walking Dead is awful, so much that there are redundant lines of dialogue. Season 2 was basically a broken record of dialogue between all of the characters. Yea, Grant has a point. None of the females have appealable personalities, which was horribly unfair considering that in the source material the women are the backbone of a lot of important moments.

We've exhausted Theodore "T-dawg" Douglas jokes. But hear me out because it's a prime example of my point: episode where Dale goes around to each person trying to sway their vote, then calls the meeting to vote on the hanging and said the exact same points. Then when Douglas has something to say, Rick cuts him off. Talk about irony. Unintentional or intentional stab at unfunny humor. It was a waste of time...to get to the end, which was for shock factor "oh any one can die..."

Here comes Season 3...and I can see this show departing more and more from the ingenious source material. Good or bad, I hope its good but I'm not as dedicated to the Walking Dead as I once was.

Ken Jeong dancing in the outtakes on the Furry Vengeance DVD almost makes that movie worth it.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fW4DniiGxik

84:00 The best part? Justin Hartley was originally supposed to be in the 'Aquaman' series, too.

83:15 - Meh.  I need to hear some good reviews for Arrow before I give this a shot.  I didn't care for Smallville and the trailer for this wasn't so great.

78:35 - Anyone wanting the zombie apocalypse, check out The Colony from the Discovery Channel (it's on Netflix Streaming and both seasons are on DVD).  Shooting zombies would be fun for the first week or so, but the whole rebuilding civilization and having to fight for water, food, and resources over the long term would be too rough to adapt to.

76:05 - You both have great points.

And I agree with Rubio- Watchmen wasn't as terrible as some people make it out to be.

75:00 - Agreed.  Lori is terrible in both versions.

64:50 - Nice!  I've only made it up to the end of season 6 since that's as far as Netflix streaming has gone.

55:00 - That was very sexual on Carrie's part, but he was the one disgusted and disappointed, so she snapped out of it quickly after seeing his expression and response to her advances.

52:40 - Homeland is an amazing show and very close to being perfect, but I have to agree Breaking Bad still rules as best TV show ever made.

Tenacious D was a GREAT movie wow, I am actually shocked that someone didn't like it. What isn't there to like? Unless you don't like their songs humour or your like 80 years old I have no idea how you could think poorly of that movie. Its just as good every time I watch it.

Whoa there guys and gals. Not all of us spillio's are zombie fans. I'm in the Prof. Jeff "I'm sick of Zombie's" camp.

I have no problem with the walking dead, but I don't give 2 shit's about it either.

Heed the words of legendary NYC Jewish mobster Arnold Rothstein (Michael Stuhlbarg) aka the Brain, sometimes in life the best move is not making one at all and biding your time.

Like Billy Tomlinson, I too am excited for Boardwalk Empire season 3 especially now that Breaking Bad is on hiatus till 2013. The fallout of season 2, where Nucky (Steve Buscemi) clearly comes full circle with James Darmody's, (Michael Pitt) "You can't be half a gangster..." line will bring all the uneasy alliances between Chicago, Philadelphia, NYC, and Atlantic City to a head with a new player in town, Gyp Rosetti (Bobby Cannavale) who plays by his own set of rules.

Boardwalk Empire is a mobster show that is very sharp in its commentary about American politics and economics through the eyes of unsavory men. While the writing takes liberties with these famous historical figures, how it incorporated World War I, rise of the IRA, the KKK base of power in the Delaware states, polio, and Women's Lib movement.

I'm going to be BOLD and say it's right up there with Game of Thrones in terms of taking these actors that you don't immediately recognize in other shows and creates a role that truly makes them shine to the point where every plot twist makes you go, "Oh shit..."

Of course Steve Buscemi is the ring master much like Peter Dinklage in GoT, in terms of being that talented thespian who can deliver those complex, top shelf multi-faceted lines that not only elicit a chuckle but has that, "We laugh because it's funny...we laugh because it's true in all works of life."

David Morrissey soon to be the Governor, in Basic Instinct 2, watch as a shrink with a constricted affect tries to outshrink Novelist Catherine Tramell. If you listen carefully, you can hear Sharon Stone's queef that sounds a lot like a cash register.

Neil Gaiman was right in Sandman: Season of the Mists, "and may every man give the devil his due.." I HATED Kick Ass 2 and Nemesis because it's Millar taking his shock factor and trying to top it constantly like Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck cartoon. However force him to write a 4 issue story (without missing deadlines) and voila you have a comic book version of Ocean's 11 meets Layer Cake.

I also like the concept of villains going, "Oh for fuck's sake...I've been to jail so many times let me get out of: NYC, Metropolis, Gotham, etc..." I mean, how many fucking times do villains getting pummeled by Batman, Captain America, Spider-man, or Iron Man before they say to themselves, "I've had enough of this shit...pick someplace else!"

Again, as Leon said...Crime is IN when it comes to comics. Jump on titles like:

Another sign that Kirkman is not a one trick pony with the Walking Dead. Tag teaming with Nick Spencer (Morning Glories, THUNDER Agents), Thief of Thieves is a book that inevitably Michael Mann or Soderburgh will be looking to adapt (for better or for worse).

I don't know if you have Beverly Hills Cop in modern day especially with that ICONIC sound that played every time Axel Foley made his move. Side note, my father who still lives in Detroit told me, new FBI agent head in Detroit named "Foley." Axel finally gets his DUE!

    Long live the LEAGUE!
