It's a pet peeve of mine when people go off on folks who enjoy playing Rock Band and similar games with the argument that "you could learn a real instrument." I play guitar, drums, and piano quite well, but I still love playing Rock Band with the peripherals. They're appealing in totally different ways. Playing real instruments is fun because it's a means of artistic expression. Playing Rock Band, on the other hand, is appealing in the way most video games are: it's satisfying to hone your skills and try to beat the next challenge.

A week ago I found a set of broken Rock Band drums by the trash for my apartment complex, so when I heard Professor Jeff mention that he broke his Rock Band drums I hate admitting it but for a split second I did go "... Nooo, couldn't be."

I always thought it was unanimously agreed upon that Avenged Sevenfold were absolute dogshit?

How dare you not know of Avenged Sevenfold? Although I do understand it may be a generational thing

Avenged Sevenfold is mediocre at best. Their last album was an improvement over the crap they released early on, but that's not saying much.
The worst part of that band is the names of the members. Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance... the kind of shit you'd expect from 12 year old goths.

You don't need to know who Avenged Sevenfold are. They're a really shitty metal band (if they can even be called metal; they tarnish the name of the genre).

Professor Jeff, how do you not know Avenged Sevenfold? They are the best band out there. They are like a shining light in these dark modern days filled with shitty music.

I love Rock Band, don't know about Blitz, though. Music games are mainly for music-lovers; especially those who don't know how to play the real instruments.

Don't be hating :P, I actually bought an Acoustic drum kit after Rock Band 1. ROCK BAND inspired me to start playing instruments like the guitar and drums. Been singing forever though :P.
