    @ Tragic Bronson

TEKKEN TT2 will release DLC characters for free throughout the year. We have no number on what the final character count will be.

Well the ps3 version of sf x t has 55 playable characters. Tekken tag tournament 2 has 59 playable characters. That's not that much of a difference.

Me being the biggest tekken fan ever I have to say.....THIS GAME IS FUCKING PERFECT! I have all the tekken games except 1, however I've played all of them, and its become my favorite franchise ever. I love me fighting games, its my favorite genre. But I digress, anyway, this game has EVERYTHING you need in a fighting games, and more! Tekken tunes, I've never seen before, combot and fight lab = an amazing, fun, and funny tutorial for the noobs. The game is well balanced, the tag system works great, giant character roster, SO MANY MODES AND CUSTOMIZATION, graphics are amazing, and so detailed, like your characters get dirty when put on the ground, veins on characters, its so detailed and polished. Definitely better than sex, and I honestly feel its the greatest fighting game of all time. So much content. I love this game.

Damnit Korey why couldn't I get in on this review?! I play nothing but fighting games AWWW!!!!

Anyway great review guys, much better than the Taylor Cocke (IGN editor) who reviewed this game and cried about the training mode, the FREAKING MENUS, and proceed to giving it 7.5. Wow, regardless I'm gonna have to disagree about what Jason said about introducing people to fighting games and which ones they should start off with, which this game IS NOT IT, but still loads of fun.

Fighting games now I would argue are MUCH MUCH easier to get into. If someone asked what fighting game should I pick up to play casually I would for Persona 4 (if they don't mind the anime sprites), Street Fighter Arcade Edition, and SF X T. Persona because there's really only 4 buttons to mash (easy to play difficult to master kind of game), Street Fighter because everyone knows Street Fighter and has an easy learning curve to it, and SF X T for what Jeff said about the gems.

But hey, that's just me. I LOVE Mortal Kombat 9 which was the only game I was SUPER SERIOUSLY into when it came to tournament (Kenshi all the way!) but I stopped playing it. Tekken is definitely hard to play (this is my first Tekken game) but I really love everything in this 60 dollar package. TONS of characters, FANTASTIC soundtrack, SUPERB online, and it's gorgeous to look at.

Hideo Shimazu: http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/11/115074/1661600-namcaphideo.png probably as close as Capcom got to a "normal" person in a fighting game.

I'm a TEKKEN fan from the start, but i only played part six in passing. I thought i had enough moves with a few characters to jump in and kick some ass, But NO. Practice is a must here folks. The tag system alone takes some time to master. Each char... has it's own play style. Some are full on offence, others are defence, but most are a mix of the two. The key is to keep your opponent guessing, and take advantage of openings. Don't even try any ranked matches before you know what you're doing. I think anyone can have fun with this game, but if you suck. Make sure you have friends to play with that suck too. Practice people. Practice!!!
