Great review and I'm really looking forward to playing White 2. And actually, Pokemon did have direct sequels before because Gold and Silver continued three years after Red and Blue and a lot of the old Gym Leaders came back in the second half of the game. Hell, you battle the trainer from the previous game at the very end of Gold and Silver.

Man am I glad I listened to this. My girlfriend got the game and we knew nothing about this secret downloadable pokemon, and I know that if we hadn't found out about it until it was too late then she would have flipped. So thanks Carlyle, otherwise we would have never known.
