The gift thing reminds me of when Korey got upset about the cookies a few months ago.  Love JollyManBigBoy's response below, I hope Korey actually reads it and thinks about it before he gets snippy about another gift not being expensive enough.

Korey, i like you but I have to admit.... YOU ARE THE BIGGEST FUCKING HYPOCRITE OF ALL TIME. You praise Nigel's gag gift which encourages him to send you more. Yet you treat the guy who gives you a movie like shit. This isn't the first time you did this, I believe a man by the name of Kirby sent you a Charlie Sheen film and you gave him shit for it too. I mean, what the fuck Korey. You should be venting your anger on Nigel Dungin instead of people who send you movies. I think your awesome but that was un cool.

    Dear Korey,

One of the first episodes of ACOCO was in July of 2010 when Carlyle showed you the image of Sean Connery in the crazy outfit in Zardoz.  It was one of the funniest segments on a couple of cold ones ever.  Not only that, but it had a strong charm to it because it was the first time you were interested in something Carlyle said.  Being one of my first episodes, I listened to it several times because it was such a great and lively conversation.  And I remember Carlyle felt proud to have introduced this movie to you.  You then followed up with, "you know I'm going to watch this movie, and I'm going to like it."  And to see you react so violently to this exact movie being sent to you, felt a little sad.  I felt like a memory from my spill past was a little tainted.  Now I don't expect you to remember this, or anybody to remember it.  In fact I expect a lot of people to call me some freak with Asperger's and they won't be far off.  But I guess I'm just trying to remind you that you once WANTED to see this movie, and I especially wanted to hear your opinion of it because I love hearing the opinions of Uncle Korey.  You don't have to apologize for anything or watch the movie, just go lighter on your anger when it comes to fans.  And I didn't want to write this, but the fact that it's been on my mind all week seems to indicate that I ought to share my early memories here on spill.

     Sincerely Your Fan,

    Jerat, "JollyManBigBoy" Blanton

HE HAS A REAL LIFE CATCHPHRASE.

REGARDING MUSIC in TV AND FILM

Hey Korey its Eric from NYC I figured I should speak on this since I'm in the music biz....

Yes the way you guys explained it is one way to get in tv and film but there are times where they want to get unknown acts because they are cheaper than to put a lady gaga or an adele song in there.

There are many companies (music licensing, music publishing, etc...) that dedicate themselves to putting music in TV shows and Films like Chop Shop, Music Dealers, Getty Images, etc...It's basically about making good music that you have the rights to and they will place the songs that they need.

Before you get placed by any of these companies you must sign up to a Performing Rights Organization like ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC. They will find the money you are owed whenever your song is performed on radio, tv, etc...Then you need to do split sheets and all that I can go on and on but its best to be said than typed....I hope this helped your listener

"I'm gonna be the bad guy this week. IDGAF"

    30 seconds later

"Ya know, I was doing this for a laugh"

I love how Korey just flip-flops like he's Mitt Romney. (my poor attempt at topical political humor, ladies and gentlemen)

Am I the only one that likes Billy? The guy does need to schedule better, yes...but I feel he's a great addition to the site, and dmaned if his girlfriend isn't on the all! We need more women on the site! And FYI, I used to work in special needs...and I had a few clients with the same issue the person mentioned has i.e. their brain operate slower than normal. Unfortunately, they don't see what the problem is, and to them it really does seem like everyone else is talking to acting too fast. It's an issue of processing the information around them. The brain's normal pathways are damaged to the point that it's trying to absorb and analyze the same amount of data with a far more limited amount of neural connections. Think of it as suddenly having a limited bandwidth...as if you went from a 4G LTS to a dial-up. Even writing boards and talking device will not speed it up, because the brain is still slow at reacting and responding. That said, give them time. Whatever the reason, they are still people and deserve some diginity. This guy did something pretty stupid, and now will pay for it for the rest of his life. Beyond the legal punishment, he does not need nor deserve to be mocked over it. I know you folks like to push the envelope on humor...but please be careful. Finding diginity and respect for the disabled is hard enough as is.

When Korey gets angry, I feel like I'm listening to my parents fight....and then he says he's playing for laughs. I ain't laughing, I'm cringing and feeling awkward....cause I know there's a lot of truth in your rant.

while i realize its funny and good entertainment for the show, why don't y'all just stop opening gits during the show? Just send whoever sent the gift a thank you msg. that way korey would get a lot less gifts cause they wouldn't be featured on the show

i just don't get this shit. the man has told people that he does not like to be sent gifts. Yet people still want to send them. And then when he does not like the gift people want to get butthurt and call him an asshole. WTF???

i acutally feel like korey has been a good sport amist all the stupid gifts he has received from  the spill fans. You can count on  your hands the number of gifts that have been useful. Personally i would have went on a long rant after the third or fourth gift referencing the gay joke.

Think about it people. How would you feel if someone you barely know sends you porkrinds or books on how to come out to people that you are gay?  I wouldn't even send that kind of gift to my really good friends let alone someone i know from a podcast.

those kind of gifts would get  you an ass whopping around my friends.

Ahhh Billy! I've been counting the weeks looking forward to hearing from Al Frank again. You guys still turned out a great show though. To be honest, Kory's story about the 18 year old girl was a bit unsettling to hear, but still turned out some fun banter.
