    I couldn't stand this game.

And I'm not sure if that's due to the story or my own issues with the Vita itself.

Yeah, I was thinking of getting Silent Hill HD Collection for the 360, but I think I'll buy most of the games seperately for the PS2.

Silent Hill 2 stands as the best in the series and they re-released it as a pack with 2 and 3 together.  So you can pick that up and play it on PS3 and I think 360.  They didn't redo part one and the controls are a bit dated for an original PlayStation game.  I would start with the remade 2 and 3.   If you have a Wii, Silent Hill Shattered Memories is worth a play.  You use the Wiimote as a flash light, and ghosts talk through it to you.

@Michael Maxwell the Great Play the first and second game.. those two are by far the best in the franchise. Just the soundtrack alone is amazing, as well as the creature designs.

I really want to play a Silent Hill game. I've never played any of them, so can anyone recommend a SH game?

By the way, this sounds great, but I don't have a PS Vita.

This review has my intrest the most peaked, due to it not being a remake or a re-release or a homage that falls apart if you don't like the jokes but a franchise moving into a whole new direction for the franchise. Also kojima hasn't done great horror based mind fucks(the sorrow stands out), he's a man of military based stuff, if he can pull it

I heard that Kojima was going to help The Silent hill franchise , if so i'm happy about that:)

I like the elevated look so when it comes to multiple attackers, you can work out the spacing in order to take them all out instead of just trading blows.
