You know, I think that Al Frank's stories are infinitely more interesting than someone like Tucker Max and the I hope they serve beer in hell book. Honestly as messed up as this stuff is, I was totally interested in hearing just how messed up some of his encounters are. I'd listen to Frank tell stories for days straight before watching Jersey Shore or Honey boo boo.
Oh and I looked up that Baliey Jay girl everyone is talking about. I hate to admit this but guy, girl, or whatever she is.... she's actually pretty cute.

I know I'm late on listening to this, but the issue of circumcision in the comments has peaked my interest & just had get in this one.There is a lot of miseducation & just plain old ideas that get spread about the issue from Family, Sex Education in , Doctors, &, Society Itself. I found a great video on this topic & advise anyone to at least check it out.

With regards to male circumcision in the UK we don't have anything against it. But we do find it weird that non-Jewish men in the US are circumcised because it just doesn't happen over here. We don't understand it, but we are okay with it.
And I also have no problem with mixed race relationships, but hey, I am mixed race! What I have a problem with is people always have a problem with certain things like that. Like I've heard, and I know its a minority, that some black women don't like black men with white women and etc etc. Same with you get white guys who hate black guys with white girls. No one should limit themselves, and most of this discrimination is just stupid, and its none of their business anyway.
But in the UK, we do have TV shows that are set in places like the Lord of the Rings where there are black characters, and extra's etc. Who from what I have heard, don't really have a problem with black actors and white actresses being the main relationship in the program/film. But with James Bond, its James Bond, and there has been talk that Idris Elba could be James Bond, because 00 is just a role in the universe it can be anything.And I agree Korey that people only say "black president". I get it too, only they think I'm either white, asian (indian), or mediterranean. But what I've come across, and this is because nowadays i have more white friends because I've by coincidence been hanging out with them more, they want to associate me with my white side, and despite what I try to say, I'm not white because my dad is 1/4 indian, but I have been brought up with the british way of life. They don't want to listen or say "okay you are that" I'm white, I'm a coconut almost, they could be saying. And then I complain, and they say I'm obsessed or talking too much about race. Its stupid! Also, being mixed race, you get idiots whose first words is "what are you" or "are you white/foreign". And believe me, its not just white people, its everyone! But my problems haven't really been racial at all, always more to do with disability.

Out of everything that has been said in this podcast. the most talked about thing has been circumcision. seriously? I find Al Frank's stories inspirational. he's been through some fucked up shit. it sounds like he's keeping a positive outlook. they should be playing these stories at suicide prevention hotlines/agencies. being subscribed to his Facebook page had been become something i look forward to. not everything he post is my cup of tea but they're always interesting. instead of looking at life with a better out look, only thing bastards cared about talking is their dicks. i don't think parents and doctors have talked this much about circumcision. time to move on, i'm missing my Spooktacuar Savings.

There are actual studies showing that the nerve endings in the foreskin serve no sexual purpose and are there mostly for protection of the foreskin itself. The number of nerves though is nowhere near what the anti-circumcision advocates have been proclaiming either. But I fear I just opened another can of worms

Are we still talking about the penis issue, I thought that we already resolved that argument. I think we can all agree that circumcisions are a holdover from a primitive time when people believed God would be angry if sex was too pleasurable, so they removed sensitive parts of a male or females genitals. I think we can all also agree that we men folk got off pretty easy in that department, and now this GENTIAL MUTILATION is so normalized that uncircumcised penises are now the ones that are the oddities. Sure your penis is less sensitive (that is what happens when you remove nerves and skin from an appendage) but I still can’t last longer than 45 seconds and I think we all feel that sex is pretty bad ass even in our current state. But there are some benefits (look how I provide links from a reputable source) http://www.webmd.com/cancer/cervical-cancer/news/20110106/male-circumcision-cuts-womens-cervical-cancer-risk and it is nowhere near as invasive and damaging as the circumcisions done to our female counterparts. For some people (Christopher Hitchens famously went off on a Rabbi over the issue) cutting off parts of an infant’s penis is still a horrible act that proves the how religion holds back our higher sensibilities. Honestly without religion who would look at a babies dick and think “Well I really need to cut that extra skin off” . I just want it to be known that people can be legitimately bothered by the practice…I am not but those who are bothered by it are not crazy.

This wasn't disturbing. Do you remember that issue a few years back about some kids cutting off a dog's head and posting pics of it on the internet? It caused Anonymous to get involved and get that guy in trouble. THAT was disturbing...
Anyway, Not trying to offend, but I find Al Frank to be boring. I tend to have to skip through the podcast because I dont know what it is about him, he just doesn't interest me...Maybe he just doesn't have the charisma/spark you guys have.

I'm the furthest thing from religious and I LOVE having an aerodynamic, non-cheese-harboring, slightly less-sensitive (if you say so) penis. I would thank my non-Jewish parents for it everyday, if that wouldn't be SO creepy.
Look, if you feel like you need to label male circumcision, pierced ears, manicures and haircuts as mutilations, the fine. But don't for a second pretend that male and female circumcision are on the same level. I guarantee there's a LOW percentage of women who would speak favorably of their circumcision.

Circumcision is mutilating the body, that's simply what it is, if you want to say it's not a negative thing, then you can, but saying taking a knife and cutting off the skin around your penis isn't mutilation, well then you're just ignoring the meanings of words.
There's no reason, apart from in some medical cases for male babies to have a knife taken to their penis. It's 2012 for fuck sake, put this religious bullshit behind you, if there is a god, which I don't believe there is, I'm pretty sure he/she wouldn't give you brownie points for cutting the skin around your son's dick.
