    @ Davril - You can use your PS3 controller, thanks to a download, I think it's called motion joy. I have a cheap wired Xbox controller that works with Steam games, without any fiddling around. There's also a fan made patch that bumps up the graphics on the PC version, if you choose to get it one day.

    Dark Souls is such an amazing game.  I'm always glad to hear one of The Loading Bar crew loves it as much as I do.

    If they can redo this game for the PC, instead of simply porting it (Fable 3, I'm looking at you) I'd play it in a jiffy because I have a program that lets me play on the PC with my PS3 duelshock controller.  I played Darksiders 2 like that.  I'd love to see a kick-ass looking PC version of Dark Souls that I could play with my PS3 controller. :O)

    @Professor Jeff

    Yes, there is a new intro to sif if you fight him after you rescue him from the DLC. I thought you had implied that his limping and close-to-death animations were also new additions, which they are not. My mistake if I misunderstood.

    I would also like to say that as long you have a controller the PC version is completely on par with the console version.

    My current build:
    Cleric
    SL:120
    V: 40
    A: 19
    E: 40
    S: 25
    D: -
    R: -
    I: -
    F: 50

    Rings: RoF&P, Wolf
    Armor: Elite Knight(head), Dingy(body), Sun(arms), Lord Blade (legs)
    RH: Mace +15
    LH: Darkmoon Talisman, Grass Crest

    It's a shame you never met Dusk in an earlier play-through, the Hidden Body spell is a total life and time saver.

    Yeah the PC version is unplayable without a controller (that I thankfully have) and the framerate cap is silly but from what I gather it still runs way smoother than the console version that is chugging at 10fps in Blighttown and Lost Izalith. It was also released with the resolution locked at 720p but there was a mod that enabled higher resolutions so with that it looks pretty good.

    "Bloated mutants"?

    Sounds like the infected hollows in the Painted World of Ariamis.

    Dusk and the gold golem behind the hydra were there from the very beginning.

    @Wounded

    I never found Dusk before, so that one is on me. As far as Sif goes, there is a very much new addition to the intro sequence if you interact with him during the DLC.

    Uhhh... Jeff, Dusk of Oolacile has been in the game from the beginning, as was the death animation for Great Wolf Sif.
