Podcasts - Remote Viewing Episode 33

We'd hide this week's topic from you, but we wouldn't want to keep you in suspense. The Loading Bar's Jason Murphy and Beau from The LEOG join Brian (The Man Who Punned Too Much) for an in-depth breakdown of all 15 films in the Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection Blu-ray set. We go Psycho with our Hitch discussion, debate, and dissection. Without a Shadow of a Doubt, one of our geekiest shows to date.

North by Northwest is not included in the British release of this boxset. It sucks for anyone across the pond, but they'll have to buy that one separately.

Brian whoa..wait...I'm back and forth listening to this in the studio. Morocco, IN??Did I just hear that right? I just moved to Chicago from living in Vegas for 7 years. I grew up in Lake Village, IN. No one has clue where that is. It took that town, Roselawn and Morocco to make up one 7-12 grade high school.

For anyone who has Comcast/Xfinity cable, several Hitchcock movies can be watched for free using On Demand.  They can be found in the "Free Movies" section, and they are all in HD.  You can find Psycho, Vertigo, Rear Window, The Birds and The Man Who Knew Too Much in that section.

Correction, It doesn't include North by Northwest. (I guess it's like the set Beau mentioned.) I'll have to buy that separately.

I just pre-ordered this exact set from the UK Amazon for $130 USD, and it's region free so I won't have any issues with my blu-ray player. I'm so glad I found this out before I bought the US version.

I've enjoyed all the Hitchcock discussions in past podcasts, and bringing Jason and Beau in on it made this week's episode particular awesome.

the birds is my all time favorite Hitchcock movie. the scene with the crows on the jungle gym as they try to rescue the children from the school ... it is like creeping into a nest of monsters. you just see them watching and waiting like the crows from the first resident evil.  ~shivers~

AND now this episode will be one to put on film buffs lists for mandatory listening, lol.  With the Three Amigos in the driver seat I anticipate good things!  Still, missing Cyrus and hope for the best for him and his safe return.  Long live the... wait, scratch that... stay tuned everybody!

I opened this page, saw all the movie posters... gotta say, think I had a little gasm.

(I'm just *slightly* a fan of Hitchcock.)

That box set was on my Christmas list weeks ago.

@Absinthe Minded--I think you're confusing Jason with me. I'm the one who's been hosting since Cyrus has been out of town. Although you're not the first to make that mistake and I'm rather honored to be confused with such an upstanding gent as Mr. Murphy.

@Zgamer--You mean like we did last week? This was pretty much the only thing that came out the week of 10/30. Hence it getting its own show.

Funny you guys should mention Landau as a character in the town Sleepy Hollow... he was in the intro to Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow.  He lost his head. :O)

This looks like an epic episode. Can't wait to listen to it. Also, I hope Cyrus is well.

Man I miss the hell out of Cyrus. That's not a slight at Jason, Brian or Beau at all. They're great. In fact, Jason Murphy has more than risen to the challenge of taking the RV reigns. It's just that...it's just....I MISS CYRUS! :..(
