    Torn between this or Halo 4, ive been playing the Cod series since the beginning and to be fair i believed it peaked at modern warfare 1 and has just had nothing new to give since, and really, why should it. Stick with what works(£). But hey, i do like innovation and new mechanics/variation to the gameplay so i have been with the battlefield series since BC2. Ive not played Halo since reach and found it to be a great change to the "serious" fps so will probably opt for halo 4. If people decided to skip on Black ops 2 would they be forced to change things up, perhaps. will it happen? definitely not. . . . unfortunately

    Spec ops > black ops.

    I'll never play a Call of Duty the same way again after playing Spec Ops: The Line.

    There are a ton of options to getting into MP as a new player. Combat Training eases you in by playing against Bots and League Play matches you against players of similar skill level after playing 5 games.

    As for Zombies, it's not meant to be streamlined. Zombies is meant to be intentionally vague to promote exploration and experimentation with multiple playthroughs. That said, most of your guys' criticism of the mode is fair, minus saying it was just thrown together without much thought, it's just a mode that's not for you and that's fine. The beauty of Black Ops II is there seems to be a bit of something for anyone.

    Just got the game the other day, lvl 30 zombies, lvl 16 MP, not very far in campaign, but I stopped playing maybe 6 months after BLK OPs 1 release. Getting back into it easily. It's not hard and no one has fun until they are just not shit enough to kill one person, then it's fucking addictive.

    That song is terrible. It reminds me of Iron Maiden. Don't get me wrong, I love metal. I'm a meta;l fan. But I hate Maiden and that style. For that type of metal, if it's not Megadeth then it's nothing.

    Have to agree with the guys at the end, highly dislike Avenge Sevenfold in general let alone in this game.

    I like all the Avenge Sevenfold stuff I've heard, but I have to admit that I didn't like that song. Then again, Treyarch does this stupid thing with licensing a new song with the game. That Eminem song did not fit BO1 at all. They should have stuck with 60s music

    @Wodenson

    Maybe its just me but if you like Black Ops, chances are you prefer Metal to pop. And I am such a huge Avenged fan that if getting the game were the only way to listen to the song, I would buy just for the song.

    @Superbadmike

    If that is the song, then Black Ops sucks for making you watch and listen to that damn thing wondering if anything with the story is going to pop up.  Yes, music is something no one will agree on.  It is intentional noise that some will love and some will hate.  If they are gonna trick you into watching something all the way through, they could at least pick something more milquetoast pop instead of that song.  I would say the exact same thing if it was hardcore rap, old school country, or anything far out of the middle unless it was bagpipes and/or harpsichord filled.

    Really liking the spectrum of ratings.  Full price, Full price, and Full price.  Granted the video at the end was cheesy.  But come on Menedez gets smacked around and yelled at xD.

    @arnulfo rojas grow up? Why? Because they disagree with you? You're the one who needs to grow up and realize that call of duty is becoming a joke.

    Do my ears deceive me? A Call of Duty game that has actually made progress? Ohh my god!! I'm scocked. You mean they actually decided to change things from the previous games? Well then, might be time to get another CoD game besides Modern Warfare 1.

    I hope like hell the music video they are talking about is not something involving Trent Reznor as his theme and especially the orchestral mix of it on the soundtrack are freaking amazing and in interviews for this theme he has mentioned that he is working on new NIN material, which is satisfying news.

    hey guys, i'm a seasoned call of duty player. i'm really sad you didn't talk about the lag compensation in multiplayer. i really enjoyed the single player and the pick ten system for create a class. zombies is broken with the damn lava everywhere. i down myself more often with the lava than the zombies attacking me.

    David S Goyer also wrote Crow: City of Angels and look at his original ending for Blade and dude used to not be able to write ending for shit.  Seriously, Blade has to fight a CGI blood tornado.  I really think in the finished product, Nolan did more writing and fixing for his Batman Trilogy than Goyer.
