    so i did play the game now and those were fucking gigantic spoilers.  Mr. Coleman, i love your site, i love your shows, i loved your reviews.  But i am increasingly certain i cant actually listen to your work until after i am done with whatever you are working on.

    i stopped listening after i heard what i thought was the first gigantic spoiler of "had we made it through".  the part you would have spoiled had me stunned when it happened.  if you had instead spoiled that...

    i can not say this enough.  please give a shit about spoilers.  just do two casts, one where you are serious about spoilers, one where you can do all the spoiling you want!

    i desperately hope that when one of the casters says "had we made it through", that is not a spoiler.

    i love your podcast, but increasingly i have found i actually cant ever listen to it if i plan to play a game, because you guys are TERRIBLE about spoilers.  it is almost like it is a joke to you, not to be take seriously.

    please, take spoilers seriously.  even the ones you might consider little.  consider any plot point that occurs past the first 5 minutes a spoiler.  you can always do a second spoilerific cast to accompany the one you take seriously.

    I've been away a while (over a year). Not many people realize that I came up with the name "The Loading Bar" around two years ago now, when chatting with fungusmonkey on the league lounge. Me and my brother started our own Video Game trivia website called didyouknowgaming.com please check us out... we have a modest following on youtube and would love for you guys at spill, who brought the creative passion out in me. Love you guys Thank you!

     I got this game based of a a podcast with Korey on  A Couple of Cold Ones. The game is an "Experience"  that I believe gamers of all genres will genuinely love. This coming from a guy who doesn't like the tv show and never read the comics too hated how Lee's only mode of movement was set to "Swagger"!

    @jack burton

    I agree i felt the same way with my shep. However it couldn't shake the feeling that all my involvement had been usurped by an ending that didn't factor in any of my choices. But we are debating in circles about ME. I'm just saying choice in the video game industry need more improvement. Heavy Rain excluded b/c i have yet to play.

    Jesus, Korey.  That's a HUGE spoiler, not a little one.

    @Gothka I agree with Jack on this one. That video is a massive spoiler for a very unexpected and emotionally resonating part of the game. Your doing fans a disservice by posting that particular clip.

    With all the choices i had made throughout ME, I found myself thinking one question when faced with it's finale. What would my Shepard do?

    Heavy Rain should be at the top your must play list. Their first game Indigo Prophecy is worth looking into as well, But it's their new one Beyond: Two Souls, that you should keep your eyes on.

    @Ultimate Snyderman

    Your right that heavy rain is a game ive been meaning to check out but have been to lazy to get around to it.

    @Jack Burton

    lol yea i don't think anyone wants to get into a ME debate. And your right about the freedom we have in the ME side quests. However any story that ignores our choices at the end of the game, makes any choices we made during the game irrelevant. Wither its a side quest or main quest shouldn't matter. If you advertise a game on choice and my choices ultimately mean nothing then ppl (myself included) are in the right to be disappointed.

    Yes, spoiler review would be a good idea. Love to hear that you guys actually think about a story and meaningless decisions that you make.

    I don't want to get into a Mass Effect debate, So i'll just say this. The choices you make in ME have a huge impact on charaters and the endings to the side stories in that game. Whole races live and die depending on the decisions you make. The DLC endings help, But you're right about the overall story coming down to just three preset choices.

    Will when i play a game i would like to think my choices have a greater impact on the narrative and ultimately the ending. That's not to say that this wasn't a good story but its one that deceives you into believing theirs choice. But then again i think i prefer that over a game that gives you a ton of choices (ME) and then makes it irrelevant at the end.

    If you've ever played a LucasArts Adventure, or any of Telltales point and click games, The Walking Dead plays exactly like you would think it does. Everything is there. It's just dumbed down to the most basic of levels, not stripped away. Most point and click fans would find it insulting if the story wasn't so engaging. Your Dog could probably play through the game, but even that doesn't take away from how good it is. This is a game, you control action on screen, you can die, you have an inventory, you scroll across the environment to click on hot spots, but you never feel challenged!

    True, but Jeff specifies that they (Telltale) seems to have stripped away most of the Western adventure game formula anyway. And I wasn't really referring to Japanese relationship-oriented games in particular, but both NVLs and ADVs as a whole.

    Good story, but sorry I prefer some actual 'GAMEPLAY' in my games

    Thank you for recommending this game in previous shows Korey. I loved the hell of it. Also like to hear a spoiler review.

    I'm pretty sure they were referring to the classic point and click formula. The whole story based relationship building craze in Japan is very much its own.

    Great review guys, I'm really surprised Jeff & especially Jason felt real emotion for all the characters & choices you have to make in this game. But, I will say one thing, I'm surprised no one brought up how great Clementine is as a supporting character & child character. Most games (ie Heavy Rain) force you into a role as a parent & assume that all because the characters child is in danger we the player is supposed to care, especially after spending an hour with the little bastard. But the Walking Dead actually did it right giving her depth as a character to where you actually gave a shit about what happens to her, what she sees, & would go through any length of hardship to protect her. She was not just some simple tool used like in most games where it's just some weak random kid you need to protect who constantly gets into danger or the answer to some puzzle, but a real person who is a value to the group. Many times in the game I did not see her as just clementine, but as my daughter & would do anything not to see her cry. She was my morals reminding me & everyone else that in heart we are all good people on the inside, she is also quite frankly SMARTEST person in the group.

    I would love to hear a spoiler cast on this game, with Kevin, Nick, & possibly old man Leon. The best thing about this game is sharing with friends the decisions & secrets of this game that they could have missed or done differently.

    The choices in MASS EFFECT have a huge impact on what happens throughout the game, just not the three endings!
