I'd say Street Fighter X Tekken was a let down really.

*Spoiler* I have to agree with Nick AC3 was also my least favorite game that I played in 2012 mainly due to the audio problems Like the Boston Tea Party Mission however it would love to play a pirate game of the mechanics with it's trading & cargo system

@ dr Daterape That scene with Shepherd and Anderson is where I wanted it to end.  I didn't even care if I knew what happened afterword.  I just wanted it to fade out with the two of them there.

Mass Effect 3 was awesome up until the final THREE minutes ( the scene with Sheppard and Anderson was still good ).

Vaas is amazing... wish he was in the game longer, oh well, still amazing.

Doom 3 got critical praise for utilizing atmosphere over traditional Doom gameplay.  And for the most part it worked.  Also, it's the first game (I believe) that showcased darkness properly.  No matter how much you put the brightness up on your monitor, the darkness remains black.  And you never knew if a monster stood just before you.

That being said, it's still a decent game.  Much better than most FPSs that comes out these days.

    - Apparently the actor who played Vaas originally auditioned for a different role in the game and didn't get the part. Later however, Ubisoft called him back and decided to write in the character of Vaas because they were so impressed with his audition. Vaas was originally intended to be a very minor character but eventually they expanded his role in the story to make him a more prominent character. That could be why he wasn't in the game all the way to the end.

    - Noooo, loved Doom 3: BFG Edition. Ah well, hopefully Doom 4 will be out soon and the Spill crew can have another go at shotgunning some demons.

    - The old man's name is Frank Woods. Mason was the main character in Black Ops 1 and only appeared in the flashback sequences of Black Ops 2 (he has one appearance in the future if you unlock the right ending).

Anyways, great show! It was fun hearing all of Nick's picks for Game of the Year. Looking forward to 2013.

I'm sorry but as good as Vaas was in Far Cry, Handsome Jack {whoever that voice actor is} clearly outshines him with his performance in Borderlands 2.
