OK. This has to end here! Right now.

The last twilight movie,,,,, was bad !

Im sorry, but its not that OK of a movie that you guys says it is. It was bad, and i laughed my ass of when the super bad gay vapire made his gay villain laugh. And a guy in the theater got so pissed that i laughed xP

but seriousley. its bad, its not a ok movie. Its still lazy film making. And the score in the movie is ridicules. I mean the pacing of the score was just stupid. LOUD AND DRAMATIC, slow and romantic, LOUD AND DRAMATIC, slow and romantic.

I mean hans zimmer is a guy who does this well, but the fucking score was just bad. I think there is 3 minutes without score or soundtrack. My ears just got so sick of watching that movie. And whats up with the opening titles random white and red colors :P   WTF :P

And the whole ending like: OOOOOh we are gonna kill these characters that you love, but now we dont have the balls to do that because then the fans will be angry, so its just a prediction of the future :P

    Fuck this movie, Thank you

Det-Yeah, for some reason I always get Drake confused with Tim Buckley and I further conflated the issue by transposing Tim's son Jeff's method of demise.

I gotta lot of stuff rolling around in here, what can I say.

129:00 - Wow, that might explain why I couldn't get through the Hobbit (book) and have no interest in the movie.

Just to finish up with some bullet points on a few nominated films: Loved Zero Dark Thirty. Jessica Chastain is not a CIA agent but an analyst. This is the Jack Ryan role. The Russell Crowe role in Body of Evidence. It's playing hunches on the most dangerous level. I really appreciated how bizarre the position and perspective their job entails. I enjoyed Silver Linings Playbook. I just didn't love it. In the scene where the father goes off on his son after the fight at the sporting event, that's when the Hindi therapist could have had more meat in terms of understanding the family dynamic and could have stepped up validating the importance of the relationship between Lawrence and Cooper. That's still not as critical as the whole line, "I fell in love with you from the start..." That didn't sell with me especially with how desperate he was being non-compliant with his meds...even if I was convinced he could beat his trigger by accepting a LIE over a week old. That said, let's forgive every thing I just said....we get written letters read to the audience aloud but we can't hear what Cooper and his soon to be ex-wife say to each other. That would have humanized her rather than just being an object. So then, we go with the Hollywood ending, Cooper and Lawrence make a good looking couple and all is right with the world watching football. Eli from Boardwalk Empire was un-necessary. The lost talent was Jackie Weaver (Animal Kingdom) her role in limited action dealing with the alpha males.

    @ Gothka

I am a fan of Rifftrax as well. I saw their Plan 9 show last year and it was great. To answer your question, the reason we don't do live streaming is that we (regrettably) are not as big as Rifftrax or Cinematic Titanic. Yet. They have a pedigree and a fan base that allows them to essentially book dozens of theaters all across the country at once, and while this is a goal of ours, we are not quite there yet. We are successful in Austin and we tour the country on occasion, but live streaming is a couple years away for us.

Where do you live? California is a little tricky because movie theaters there have some very different rules for movie mocking than the ones elsewhere. However, we love a challenge and we would love the opportunity to come to a town where there is an existing interest in our show. Fingers crossed for LA, San Diego, or San Francisco.

There are still two Twilight movies we haven't done yet. Just sayin'...

@ 1:31:00 mark It's funny in the Fangoria magazine article, Cargill used his Aintitcool news credentials. I might catch hell but I thought Sinister was just ok. How many damn times do we have to repeat Ethan Hawke going down the hallway? First time, the lights blow out but no reason he shouldn't turn on the lights the second time use flashlight. Only light sleeper in the house apparently. Vampiro from WCW in a Korn music video does a nice cameo but just stands there with the kids. So much repetitive redundant stuff that would have shaved an easy 10 min. Just no purpose to this # of days elapsed, travel serial killer pattern. Very matter of fact. Finally the clear tip off if the new house doesn't work out, he can move back...undermines the severity of this guy really needing the money for a hit. The tension built up is great. The hanging video is a disturbing and haunting. Atmosphere is there, I just wished Derrickson played a little more with the elements.

@ 1:06:03 mark Nick Drake committed suicide. Jeff Buckley drowned if memory serves. Both phenomenal artists. Yea, my dad loved the Sugar Man documentary and remembers seeing him in concert.

@ 57min mark Yea, count me as one of those who really enjoyed Prometheus and the Dark Knight Rises. For me, the dynamic of Fassbender and Noomi Rapace in Prometheus was interesting in terms of their philosophical perspective on a higher being. The scene where Weyland and Shaw face off reminded me a lot of Beloch telling Indy, "Ok, blow up the Ark. You win. But you'll never know the truth of its secrets." I also loved that line, "I didn't know you had "it" in you. Ohhh, poor choice of words." Ah, the infallible ability to make android jerks. ;) The Dark Knight Rises hit the emotional beats for me. It's not an enjoyable film but an endurable one. It's quite literally the Passion of the Batman. I admire Nolan for having the brass cajones to try and end Bruce's story. I would have loved it if, DC's movies hinged on being inspired by Batman and a new generation of heroes and villains were born as a result.

@ 45 min mark Wes Anderson films have become as much a staple as Coen brothers. There's always a sense of preciousness to his characters. That may irritate some dissenters, watching his films. It doesn't bother me because he adds heart to his stories. I just wonder if he's just going to stay at this level of film-making...pretty much his trademark.

At roughly 38:00 mark... Movies that I enjoyed and felt did not deserve to bomb: Was pleasantly surprised John Carter was that good. Just a solid action, sci-fi, sword/sandals story fantasy escape. Decent adaptation. One of the few films, I felt I could take my kid without worrying if it was too dark, too gory, etc. felt very much like an 80s fun ride. Loved Dredd because it was so refreshing from origin stories. I liked the concept of treating this movie like a case file, that captured the basics of this character. Might I add (if not already mentioned) Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter: Gotta commend the comedic timing of the actors involved. Screen writer, Seth Grahame-Smith also wrote Dark Shadows movie, you see how the same sense of comedy utterly failed. The movie that stalled on the 20 yard line... Ghost Rider Spirits of Vengeance: once again, my hopes of a Marvel horror line starring the Ghost Rider has failed TWICE. While the sequel was much improved, still a lot of parts that could have been edited out. Plot was too generic. Not enough Ghost Rider kicking ass. I will say I did enjoy the sense of enjoying motorcycles. I guess, Scott Gimple got some experience out of it, he's written several Walking Dead episodes.

@3300 mark I loved 21 Jump Street movie. Tatum & Hill were hysterical. It was divine. I actually enjoyed 21 Jump Street as a kid. Mostly because Doug Penhall was a character. Some notable moments, the HIV+ episode where the kid asks Hanson (Depp) to drink out of the same glass and he can't bring himself to do it. Penhall's disturbingly funny line in a rape cause, "Sometimes when a girl says no, it means yes." Followed by Hanson (Depp) look of, "Are you out of your mind?" Also as a kid, I had it bad for Holly Robinson...damn she is SO hot.

@18:00 mark The Untouchables was basically what a live action Dick Tracy should have been. It's no closer to history than it was to the TV series. It always felt like a play to me, which has always been David Mamet's (Glengarry Glen Ross) forte. And no Mamet dialogue is complete without tough guy talk. I agree with Cyrus, it IS intentionally over the top but there is something special about it. The Score was phenomenal. Armani did the outfits. Chicago is a great town, with legendary stories of the Underworld. Most importantly, Costner and Garcia's egos were held in check because Connery aka "Jimmy Malone" was putting on a clinic. That said, DeNiro delivers such a great speech: A man becomes preeminent, he's expected to have enthusiasms. Enthusiasms, enthusiasms... What are mine? What draws my admiration? What is that which gives me joy? Baseball! A man stands alone at the plate. This is the time for what? For individual achievement. There he stands alone. But in the field, what? Part of a team. Teamwork... Looks, throws, catches, hustles. Part of one big team. Bats himself the live-long day, Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and so on. If his team don't field... what is he? You follow me? No one. Sunny day, the stands are full of fans. What does he have to say? I'm goin' out there for myself. But... I get nowhere unless the team wins. *goes to town on an informat with a baseball bat*
