First off Korey and Leon, you guys are awesome. I've been a lurker since about 2009 and I figured it was about time to actually come out and thank you all for all the laughs. I hear political discussion is heating up on this sight. As a Libertarian I don't really care for Republicans or Democrats and as a general rule I don't jump in on political debates just as an act of courtesy. All I wanted to say is you guys are funny as hell and even if I disagree with you on religious or political issues, you guys always win me back with your insight and great humor. Those rape comments were said by that one guy, and it got a lot of attention. But there are a lot of truly disturbing rape comments made by Republican party leaders that did not get much attention.
Paul Ryan also sponsored a bill that would allow rapists to stop their victims from aborting. Here. I don't have any real political leanings at all, but this is simply baffling. Conservative or Liberal, it doesn't matter to me. I only want both parties to do what's best for the people, and stop pushing their own selfish agendas.

As a political science student, I can tell you that voter fraud is near non-existent. While there are valid points in having a voter ID system in place (I myself am a proponent of Voter ID requirements) the system makes it difficult, not impossible) for people with lower income to get one. Also, if you don't think that there are more than just a few Republican politicians that try to keep people from voting then you must ignore Florida, Wisconson, and Ohio every presidential election.
