You guys reviewed Animaniacs! Awesome! I pre-ordered it on Amazon as soon as I heard it was released!
Yes, the one that is from Liverpool is Wakko.
Now, if only they would released Wakkos Wish on DVD.

About the volume. What they need to do is get someone to master the final audio, apply some filters to the sound, like limiters and dynamic compression, noise removal if necessary. The podcasts will sound much better after that, as the lows and highs in the recording will become equalized. I'm an amateur EDM producer, so I know a bit about this stuff.

Since it won't have a dvd would you consider reviewing Netflix's House of Cards?

I don't think there has to be an "ending" to a movie. If it has a purpose thematically, then the ending is whatever the movie wants it to be. Bad endings exist, but endings that serve a purpose (NCFOM comes to mind) can end however they wish whenever in service of a larger whole.

I agree about the Volume control. I wear Headphones and I pull them off almost every time there is excitement going on. Don't change the Formula, just the audio settings.

Not sure if you guys reviewed this movie, but it's a new release on blu-ray an old 1971 Aussie movie called "Wake In Fright". I really think it deserves a review from you guys. Just saw it and it's awesome. I heard it was just recently released after a world wide hunt for the lost negative. They found it in a warehouse in Philadelphia in a crate marked "For Destruction". If you wanna see the real down under where the beer does flow and the men they chunder you must check it out.

To offer an easier solution instead of constantly worrying about your positioning to the mic you could give levelator a try. All you need to do is drag and drop the .wav or .aiff onto its GUI and then it outputs a second file with the sound leveled out. I just tried it by converting the MP3 to a wav and running it. My ears are happy and I'm happy because I can listen and laugh without pain.

@jak
I believe the reason why Disney is the center of discussion for racist movies is not because they are more or less racist than any other movie but because they are meant for children to watch. An adult watching an adult movie like Casablanca can understand that racism in the movie was just a sign of the time the movie was shot in. A child, on the other hand, watching a children's movie like Peter Pan may not see that correlation and can possibly assume that this is how we view or treat other races.

I just saw sarcastaball's comment after writing this so sorry for parroting but... I love remote viewing but could Cyrus move closer to the mic or Brian and Luke farther away please? I have to turn the volume up to hear half of what Cyrus says but then get my eardrums blown out when Brian and Luke get enthusiastic.

@Sarcastaball
I totally agree with you. Not to mention all the times people clip on the recordings, it doesn't effect the quality of the podcast itself (the entertainment value of it) but it can be really distracting at times.

Here are some other ways to store your DVDs and Blu-rays:
Media Storage Ottoman http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008Y659CG
Binders with special sleeves http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0040DO4UA
And there's the extreme geek method. Get a RAID NAS, rip everything and sell the discs on Amazon-Craigslist-Ebay.

Ok, I have to be an asshole and complain once again about the recording quality. Cyrus is whispering and Brian is screaming every 20 seconds. Is there no one at Spill who can take proper care of these recordings...?

Why is is that we live in a world where if anyone mentions a classic Disney cartoon, the race issue will invariably come up?! People don't bring up racism every time they talk about Casablanca, or Gone with the Wind, and those films were way more racist!!! These films where a sign of the times! 1940 and 50's was a racist time for America, accept it!
It pisses me off that Disney has become the scapegoat, for what was a fundamentally a racist culture back then!!!!

@Yeon Cho--I have said this now many, many times. Our reviews are ALWAYS one week behind the actual release dates of the DVD/Blu. That has not changed since episode 1. Perks just hit shelves today, therefore we will cover it next week. We're not avoiding it.
