After King Kong fell from the building, how did they get rid of his body? Did they have a free Bush meat BBQ or blow him up like a whale?

LINK looks fantastic!  Terrence Stamp and Elizabeth Shue, and a chimp that wears a lab coat, but doesn't necessarily seem that much smarter than any other chimp, but is driven to a chimpy froth by having the young Elizabeth Shue looking so dewey and fresh.  I hope it is on Netflix!

No talk of Congo?  It's easily one of the best ape movies.

I was wondering what ep the Leauge was going to do since Feb/14 had pass. And silly me was hoping for a Snail ep... Oh well maybe in April, but that aside, great ep guys! I remember you guys did coverage about apes, and monkeys in media when Planet of Apes Reboot was out and so happy to hear more of it! :)

Yeah i mean suer Matt Lewis is ridiculously hot, but i think Tom Felton looks good too, maybe less conventionally but he's got a little something. In the movies he doesn't look good but in general he does.

This was one of my favorite LEOGs ever, within top 10 all-time. Wonderful balance of insight, wit, and clever humor. Most importantly I could feel the love Klaw had for his subject matter. Excellent work, gentlemen.

    Gothka13.

The word you're looking for is "flavorful". We like flavor. I've never headed to California, however, my time in Pittsburgh brought me bland food as well(I was also highly alarmed to see nothing but whitey in the kitchen of a Mexican restaurant.), anyway... it was hell. That blandness literally gave me depression after a time.

Slow sipping a thick, dark glass of LEOG. Just sounding off on the news items Mark 28:30-43:00

Nic Cage named his son, Kal-El. Too much commitment for the Superman that never was?

I remember when Secretary took the Toronto film festival by storm. I couldn't wait to see this movie, it certainly didn't disappoint. James Spader (2 Days in the Valley, Sex Lies Videotape), Jeremy Davies (Justified, LOST, Saving Private Ryan), Lesley Ann Warren (Clue)... I don't think 50 Shades of Grey can possibly say anything that Secretary didn't...but Universal can make a quick buck...if Twilight has taught us anything, it doesn't necessarily have to be good to make billions if the fan base is built in.  Before any one laughs, you can make the same argument for a lot of franchises...

My call on Days of Future Past...Since Ellen Page has been cast as Kitty Pryde, I see her escaping and going back in time to try and prevent the Rise of the Sentinal...and succeeds in her main mission but failing in another regard...ultimately leading to the X-3 universe as the alternate/tangent universe. In other words, Bryan Singer waving "bye-bye" to Ratner's world.

Two years ago, Evan Dorkin was the feature in Midtown Comics monthly Comic book club. He's really great because he has a way of humanizing the industry, even though he's freakin' Evan Dorkin. He told a story that Dream Works tried to buy the rights to Beasts of Burden but they wanted both Jill Thompson and himself to sign away their creative rights on the property for a sum that he wouldn't say but was less than $1000. Which made me blink hard and say, "Wow."

I can see Rupert Grint in the next Expendables, he's halfway there in Hollywood yrs. I think you get a free Green Card, working in Hollywood. His says, "Fernando Venezuala."

Leon, I couldn't believe you actually almost asked my question. Didn't think the serious ape-ophiles were down with wacky hotel orangutan antics..

Jermain Jackson (who is changing his last name to 'Jacksun' for some ungodly reason) has a son named Jermajesty.

I'll let that sink in, as I shove a spoon up my ass to distract myself from the pain.

Looking forward to reading the Apes of Wraith. As for Simian-centric books I enjoyed going into this podcast, I gotta go with Guerillas by Brahm Revel, who did the story boards for the Venture Bros (can't remember which season/s). Solid straight forward book about man, his relationship with Simians, and war. The art is very consistent and great to look at.

Tom (Draco) Felton doesn't look that bad.

The good-looking guy, Matt (Neville) Lewis is doing mostly theater but has done a film and a TV series post-Potter.

Hey! Don't hate on California just because we don't do 'tex-mex' style, we Californians are granola lovers, we don't want spicy food, we want tasty food (at least I don't). If we can't do the meat right, we put shit on it to make it tasty. I couldn't handle the heavy food in Texas when I visit at Spill because everything was so damn spicy.
