Ok so regarding Adele, well firstly her song compared to the shit that Jennifer Hudson was screaming out was a different type of song and if you listen to the single Adele only peaks twice in the Skyfall song and she recovered from throat op so confidence issue, Listen to Rollin in the Deep if you want to compare. Also her weight, who gives a shit, her voice is her talent and that is  what sells. You want a body and a song to hum along to get those Katy Perry and Rhianna albums you can nod to all night long. Just my view enjoyed the podcast.

"The fans getting angry at us for talking vague shit about Django Unchained."

Yep that's me. Django Unchained is Tarantino's best film in a LOOOONG time. The editing is the only thing not perfect about the film, in my opinion.

I don't think Argo was my favorite movie of the year by a long shot, but I was ecstatic to see Ben get some god damn recognition.

Major props for the podcast! Disagree with ya'll about Seth MacFarlane, though. He was not funny imo. Agree that Ang Lee deserved Best Director.

Just something interesting about Abe Lincoln's voice. There are several historical accounts from witnesses of his speeches that he had a high-pitched voice.  I'd cite an article, but I learned it from a history course a couple years ago.

Day-Lewis told a joke the first time he won an Oscar. It was about him getting really drunk in Dublin after winning.

    Day-Lewis is just too good.

Hugh Jackman didn't deserve the Oscar at all! His singing was terrible; constantly falling back on a nasally vibrato whenever the score required effort and emotion. Daniel-Day Lewis deservedly won the Oscar.

The only good part of the Oscars were: Joaquin Phoenix didn't give a crap, Daniel Radcliffe and JGL can dance, and i loved Shatner in his uniform.

Man I love these post award show shows, I prefer them this way to doing them live actually. Like you guys said, as fun as it is to hear you guys do it live, I end up missing some stuff, and this way you guys don't have to focus on what's on the screen, you can just hang out and chat, which is always fun.

The Academy, Ang Lee, Sam Jackson and RDJ can suck the biggest bunch of dicks.  totally disrespectful to the VFX community.

The visual effects studio that made life of pi what it is? going bankrupt. It makes millions for the studio and the people that made it didnt get paid.  So they had a demonstration outside the oscars.  RDJ and jackson laugh about it.  The VFX oscar goes to life of pi, they are up shorter than anyone. get played off, get their mics turned off when they mention the struggling artists.

Ang Lee gets up and thanks literally everyone BUT the visual effects crew that made his movie more than a blue bathtub with a stuffed blue tiger.  After the awards when he was asked about it, he just said he wished visual effects were cheaper.

    Bunch of dicks

I Don't think Movie 43 is the reason Hugh Jackman lost Best Actor to DDL
