Podcasts - The League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen: Fiasco Game

If that's not enough, this week there's a bonus recording. Remember that table top game "Fiasco" that you've heard us blather
on about playing at Randy's comics shop? Well, we got a chance to sit down and play the game with its creator, Jason Morningstar.
The recording is pretty scratchy, so be prepared for that, but hopefully it'll give you an idea of why we love this so much!

I hate to do this, but I'm going to have to question Cyrus' assertion that Gary Oldman's career was dying of.  That made me "Guh?"

The short show was pretty good.  You guys were a crack up all around.  Long live the league!

I guess I'm in the age group that 'gets' Leon and Johnny Neill's references without having to go to Wikipedia.

A new podcast is an awesome idea, but I don't know why Billy needs to leave LDT. It's only a few people that don't like Billy, but they're very vocal (I'm going to assume without looking that somebody's already said "Fuck Billy" in the comments even though Billy's not even on this podcast).

I've always said Co-Host and Leon should have their own podcast! The have great back and forth and Co-Host should be in more stuff

@MR CHOCOLATE BAR - We left LDT in the #2 spot for a couple extra days because Korey announced a new podcast on that show, and we want as many people to see that announcement as possible.

Also, no. It doesn't really matter what spot it's in on the carousel - they all get consistent hits so long as they're on the carousel, regardless of position. The position is more so that people know what's a) newest, and b) most important. And as Fungusmonkey said, Let's Do This is not our #1 show.

@MR CHOCOLATE BAR - That's a VEERRRY good question. I wish that the people running this site would consider it.

I thought cyrus would mention Fringe for best season finales. Would be great to hear his thoughts about the series finale, definately my favourite ending.

A discussion about great season finales and no mention of Breaking Bad season 4?!? This is heresy! HERESY I SAY!

I don't get it. LDT came out then days later, LEOG came out. I look at the home page and LDT is listed before LEOG.  I notice that, and correct me if I am wrong, when a show is moved from the number one spot, people stop listening to it as much. In short, if you put a show in the number one spot, it becomes the number one show by virtue of its position so if you remove it from the number one spot prematurely , you kind of sabotage it's chances of reaching its full 'hit count' potential. I don't think that's right. Like I said before, these pod casts need their own permanent tabs on the home page. It just sounds like common sense to me.

Is LDT's number one status a product of how long it seems to remain in the number one position? Is its number one ranking a self fulfilling prophecy or paradox?

Funny you guys would mention End of Evangelion. I've watched about 20 of the 24 episodes when it aired on Adult Swim, but I watched (or rather, know the plotline) to the film that was supposed to make up for the series finale.

And the rest you dudes got to watch Paranoia Agent when you get the chance (glad a few of LEOG did!). It has a similar feel to The Twilight Zone, but it's a cohesive story with a complex plot.

I liked the examples you guys gave out on season/series finals, just wanted to include Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones in there too, particularly BB S4 and GoT first season
