Sounds cool. I've recently been playing the Hell out of Soul Calibur 4 and my favorite part of the game is the flexible customization of the characters in Character Creation mode. I've already created He-Man, Planet Hulk, Storm Shadow, and Taarna (from Heavy Metal) using the character generator and each one is a blast to play! This may sound odd, but I play the Story Mode for the sole (soul?) purpose of unlocking goodies for additional character design!

Wow, I haven't played this series since my beloved Soul Calibur 2.  Nothing about that trailer looked interesting.  :-/

To clarify, you cannot unlock Taki in SCV but I think the confusion is that since Natsu (her apprentice/replacement)  is in the game and the Create-A-Soul mode literally has all of Taki's clothes it's quite easy to straight up remake Taki using Natsu's moveset. Something a lot of people have done online.

Not the most groundbreaking entry of the series, but still a good game.

On a side note, Taki is not unlockable, despite Jason saying otherwise. :P

By the way, you guys forgot that Hilde doesn't wear any lingerie. In fact, she actually wears armor! How about that?

Soul Calibur is possibly my favorite fighting franchise as well, just like Jason. I can't even tell you why, it just appeals to me more than Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. And it isn't Ivy's breasts, though those don't hurt.

Seems like a rental overall, though.

This is a defeniton of a Rental if I ever heard it, the story is so bad that it makes MVC 3 look like Hamlet. The game itself is good and the character creation is the best there is but there a problem when I spent more time in there then in arcade. If this game was 20-40 I would recommended it to none fighters but as it is your wasting your money go wait for Street Fighter X Tekkan
