In regards to the Rick roll thing, it's very much like Pavlovs dog. Whenever I hear the song, I am conditioned to feel irritated and disappointed and angry.

@ChangeNamerStrikesAgain - Stupidity will always inspire scorn in others. When Lucas pulls his giant bulbous head out of his nethers, we'll stop mocking his silly antics. :)

Okay, I get it. You guys REALLY hate the Star Wars prequels. I don't see why you guys keep getting angry about it even if it is the news. I get pissed off too but this is just something different... Oh well. Difference of opinion I suppose.

Look, let Geroge Lucas fuck around with his movies as much as he wants until he dies.

Then, hopefully, the movie rights will be released to Fox and they'll just remaster the originals and re-release them with Han Solo on their advertising campaign shooting first in another attempt to make money through re-releasing the same films for the hundredth time.

Thanks to Leon's reccomendation, I just saw Unbreakable for the first time a few days ago, and I loved it. So glad I saw it before this episode came out.

I can't believe people think that George Lucas is serious.

He's so OBVIOUSLY fucking with everybody.

It's hilarious to see how people are reacting.

Also - to back up what I said about Lucas and his "you just saw it wrong" lame defense - here is the excerpt of the scene in question, taken from the Revised Fourth Draft - January 15, 1976:

    HAN:
Even I get boarded sometimes. Do you think I had a choice?

Han Solo slowly reaches for his gun under the table.

    GREEDO:
You can tell that to Jabba. He may only take your ship.

    HAN:
    Over my dead body.

    GREEDO:
That's the idea. I've been looking forward to killing you for a long time.

    HAN:
    Yes, I'll bet you have.

Suddenly the slimy alien disappears in a blinding flash of light. Han pulls his smoking gun from beneath the table as the other patron look on in bemused amazement. Han gets up and starts out of the cantina, flipping the bartender some coins as he leaves.

    HAN:
    Sorry about the mess.

The next major revision was in 1997 for the Special Editions, when the script was updated to read:

Suddenly the slimy alien fires his blaster at Han, hitting the wall just to the right of Han's head.In a blinding flash of light and smoke, Greedo disappears as Han pulls his smoking gun from beneath the table while the other patrons look on in bemused amazement. Han gets up and starts out of the cantina, flipping the bartender some coins as he leaves.

    HAN:
    Sorry about the mess.

So... yeah. Lucas is either just trolling his fans (wouldn't put it past him at this point) or he is simply so far gone that he is willing to lie about the actual events in the script and the original film, just to try and save face with the public. Weaksauce, I say!

I've always wondered why Shyamalan (after finally watching Unbreakable) has a thing for having characters being not great with water.

This is quickly becoming one of my most INTENSELY anticipated and listened to podcasts. I haven't even read or seen what the LEOG crew has even talked about.
