From August 1996 to May 2000, I was a student at Kerrick Elementary, and every morning when it came time to hear the national anthem, the school would always play a video of a woman wearing a white tracksuit performing the national anthem. While I was very impressed with the performance, I had no idea who the woman was and, admittedly, didn't give it a second thought. However, when I was watching ESPN's Pardon The Interuption and the show was reaching its happy trails moment. Sadly, this was a melancholy happy trails as it dealt with the very recent passing of a famous singer. What wasn't suprising was who the victim was; what was the shocker was that this singer was the one whose National Anthem performance is forever etched into my mind. Ms. Houston, I thank you for that.

You joke about whites thinking that blacks all know each other, but there is a reason for this stereotype. In the 1960's anthropologists discovered that when passing by each other, white's would establish eye contact at 40 feet then disengage at 8 feet. Black's on the other hand will establish eye contact at 40 feet and maintain eye contact until they are almost right next to each other and then they will acknowledge each other in some way and then they disengage.

Korey, put wasabi on the tuna before you grill it. Wasabi/Soy works well for me, but it may be different for you. Let it marinate for a while so the flavor sinks in and then bread it and grill it. Its a hell of a thing
